The Application of Short-Term Memory in Liaison Interpreting

Abstract

As an important means of language communication, liaison interpreting plays a key role in various occasions. Research has found that interpreters can quickly and accurately convert language through short-term memory, promoting cross-cultural communication. This paper aims to explore the key role and application of short-term memory in the process of liaison interpreting, analyze its importance and impact mechanism, provide guidance for the training of interpreters, and improve the quality of interpreting.
