Abstract
The Chinese civilization is the outcome of the collision, integration and sublimation of multi-ethnic cultures. As an important cultural space showcasing regional culture, ethnic characteristics and urban features, borderland museums play a positive role in carrying forward the national spirit, promoting ethnic unity and enhancing the awareness of national identity, thus contributing to the socialist construction in border areas. Identifying and strengthening the integration of national identity construction and Marxist thought in borderland museums is of great significance for advancing ethnic unity and social progress.
