The Mythological Archetypal Analysis of Victor Frankenstein in Frankenstein

Abstract

Marry Shelly, a female writer of the 19th century, is known as the mother of science fiction. Her composition, Frankenstein, is considered as significant science fiction, which paves the road for the development of science fiction. The mythological archetypes could be found in Victor Frankenstein, the hero of Frankenstein, such as Doctor Faustus, Prometheus, and Adam. The figure of Victor Frankenstein is to be read based on the Mythological Archetypal Criticism.
