Literature Review of Communicative Language Teaching

Abstract
Communicative language teaching is crucial in the development of foreign language teaching methods. And it plays an important role in English teaching in China. This study discusses its definition and historical development, analyzes the factors that influences the development of communicative approach and give some advices on how to promote the use of communicative approach.
