Abstract

Under the wave of education reform in the new era, the combination of teaching and labor has been given a new connotation, and the importance of labor education in shaping the comprehensive development of primary and secondary school students has become more and more prominent, and the cultivation of students' correct concept of labor education and solid labor literacy must start from the basic education stage. This study uses the questionnaire survey method to carry out an empirical investigation on the status of labor education for primary and secondary school students and finds that there are such problems as insufficient attention to labor education, insufficient teachers, unbalanced contents and resources of labor education, imperfect evaluation system, and lack of a collaborative educating mechanism in the implementation of labor education in primary and secondary schools, etc. The study puts forward specific countermeasures and suggestions for optimizing labor education in primary and secondary schools in terms of strengthening the importance of labor education, enhancing the construction of teachers, tapping labor education resources, perfecting the evaluation system of teaching effectiveness, and building a cooperative educating mechanism.
