Abstract
This study examines how drama consolidates college students’ cultural identity through activities organized by a campus English drama club. By organizing English drama competitions, operating a bilingual WeChat official account, and conducting questionnaires, the research reveals that students exhibit heightened interest in English adaptations of Chinese classic dramas rooted in cultural and historical themes, actively supporting such content through interactive behaviors like liking and sharing. Interviews further indicate that participation in drama performances not only enhances students’ English language acquisition but also fosters a stronger sense of cultural identity and pride.
