The Effect of Inclusive Growth on the Resilience of Agricultural Industry Chain and Supply Chain
Whether inclusive growth offers a viable avenue to strengthen the resilience of both agricultural industry chains and supply chains carries considerable practical weight for promoting common prosperity, developing a robust agricultural nation, and ensuring national food security. Based on the panel data of 31 provinces in China from 2011 to 2024, the impact and mechanism of inclusive growth on the resilience of the agricultural industry chain supply chain were empirically tested. The results indicate that: (1) Inclusive growth can significantly improve the resilience of the agricultural industry chain supply chain. After adopting the tool variable method and a variety of robustness tests, this conclusion is still valid. (2) Agricultural socialization services play a significant intermediary role in the process of inclusive growth affecting the resilience of the agricultural industry chain supply chain, and is an important transmission channel for the improvement of the resilience of inclusive growth. (3) The promotion effect of inclusive growth is obviously heterogeneous, which is more significant in areas with low digital inclusive financial development level and the central and western regions, but not in areas with high digital inclusive financial development and eastern regions. These findings provide empirical support and policy guidance on how to use inclusive growth to enhance the resilience of agricultural industry chains and supply chains.
