Abstract

To promote cultural and trade exchanges between different countries and regions, various international exhibitions provide important communication platforms for all parties. Western China International Fair, founded in 2000, is an international event co-organized by the western region of China, and it also serves as a strong engine for improving trade investment cooperation between different countries and regions around the world. With the development of this Fair, many interview activities have also appeared. The purpose of the government interview was to let the netizens have an in-depth understanding of the activities related to the Western China International Fair. The reporter chose it as the interpretation material, used the Interpretative Theory and Gile’s Effort Model as the theoretical guidance for this interpretation practice, organized and analyzed the whole process after the simulated interpretation practice, and finally came up with the solutions to several major problems encountered in the simulated interpretation practice. This practice will provide a direction for the reporter’s future study and interpretation practice, as well as a feasible solution and reference for interpreters who encounter similar problems.
